Wow, we got there in no time at all! All decks have been upgraded to have gold gilt edges!

I'm so appreciative of everybody who's supported these cards so far and who's helped make these as awesome as they can possibly be! I literally couldn't make a better deck LOL

At this point if there's anything else that's unlocked it'll likely be some surprise extra goodies for the rest of you once the campaign is over ;)

Thanks again for all your support, let's ride the rest of this out together!

New Stretch Goal: Gold Edges Return!

Gold edges have made triumphant return!

Turns out my new printer can do gold edges after all! I was waiting on a new quote back from them about printing costs, and so we have our new goal, which we're already not too far off of!

This will likely be the last upgrade to the deck for the campaign, and I'm very excited. Thanks to all of your amazing support these cards will be the best versions of themselves I could have ever anticipated. From having those same gilded edges that previous backers enjoyed, now to the new foil backs, boxes, and cardstock upgrade that I had wanted last go around, these really are the dream cards and I couldn't be happier. I hope you'll all be pleased with them too!

I had questions about some special edition boxes for those who might want the upgrade, and unfortunately at this time it's just not quite feasible to do. It would be quite expensive for all of you due to the size of the decks, as well as due to the timing of everything. Thank you to those who suggested it though!

But enough of that, lets head onward to that last upgrade!

Cardstock Upgrade Unlocked!

WOW! You're all incredible! 

The last stretch goal I had set just unlocked last night! Now everybody's cards will have that ultra-premium feel with casino-grade black core cardstock, which should make them extremely long lasting and gorgeous.

So, what's next for other stretch goals some of you might be asking? I'm not sure yet!

I've had a few questions about bringing the gold edges from the last print run back, and it's definitely something I'm interested in! I've asked my printer if this is a possibility, as they seem to be able to do it for the print books they offer, but I'm not sure if the foil backings on the cards might interfere with gilt edges, or if the process might be different for their card printing entirely. Definitely I'd love to bring them back if possible though! We'll see what they say, and where our goal might need to be to get that upgrade if it's doable. :)

I've also been asked about some more premium box options such as wood and tin, and these are also things I'm currently looking into. They'd most likely be an add-on reward for those who'd want the upgrade, as they'd unfortunately accrue some slightly higher shipping costs due to their size. Wood is seeming a little out of the realm of reasonable possibility, just due to the costly nature of high-quality woodwork. I'd hate for any of you to pay a premium price for shoddy product! Custom printed tin boxes or rigid cardboard boxes with lids don't seem too out there, however, and I'm going to ask some other printing companies about the option. The Deck of Many Things is smaller than your average tarot deck, so that makes fancy packaging to accommodate its unique size rise in cost rather rapidly, but I'll continue to do research on this and I'll let you all know if any of these become options.

Hey, we hit our free bookmark goal overnight! Thanks again everybody for your continued support! Bookmarks are something I always want to use in my DnD books, so I hope they'll be useful to you!

Now we're working our way to our 10k goal where we get that awesome casino grade black core cardstock upgrade! I hope we can reach it, and that you'll all get to feel how amazing it is in person. I've had paper samples from my factory of it for a while now and really, it's a noticeable difference that I hope you'll enjoy.
