BacerKit Survey Reminder; AppleID Hiccups
over 3 years ago – Wed, Sep 02, 2020 at 11:47:03 AM

Hey everybody! This is just a quick reminder to please fill out your BackerKit survey if you haven't already. If it's not filled out by September 8th at 11:59pm MST then you'll be forfeiting your pledge, and I don't want that! If you can't seem to find your email still, whether it's your regular inbox or your junk box, please DM me with the email connected to your KS account and I'll resend your invite.

For those of you who signed up for KickStarter with an AppleID:

This has notably been causing issues for those of you who haven't received an email yet. If you used and AppleID when signing up for your KS account, BackerKit has been unable to send you emails entirely. If you think this is you, please DM me with the email you'd like your BackerKit messages to be sent to and I'll manually add you into the system and get you sorted!

That's all for now! Hope you all have a great week.

BackerKit Surveys Going Out!
over 3 years ago – Wed, Aug 26, 2020 at 08:50:11 AM

Yay, surveys are going out!

So, some of you might have gotten an email from BackerKit last night when you were randomly selected for the "smoke test" to make sure surveys were going out, and now the rest of you should be receiving your surveys shortly as well!

So, now you can lock in your orders, purchase additional extras (including previous KS exclusives!), adjust your pledges as you see fit, etc! I'm going to make September 8th at 11:59pm Mountain Standard Time the hard cut off here! That's a full two weeks and should be plenty of time. :) If your survey isn't filled out by then, you'll be missing out on your order! Make sure to keep an eye out on your Junk/Spam folders in case your survey email accidentally got filtered out, and allow for up to 24 hours for it to be sent to you just in case! If you don't see an email after 24 hours please don't hesitate to message me so I can resend it to you.

Once the survey closes I'll start placing orders and update you all on when I receive things. Most of the add-ons and the like are coming from just a few printers, so I'm hoping there won't be too many big delays despite the USPS's current struggles. I'll update you all if any issues end up arising!

So, go ahead and get those filled out when they arrive to you and get locked in! You'll be able to adjust your orders up until the store closes, so don't fret if you end up moving or need to change your mind on some things. Let's go!

BackerKit This Week!
over 3 years ago – Mon, Aug 24, 2020 at 11:01:38 PM

Just a quick update because I've had some questions about when BackerKit surveys are going out and I wanted to update everybody. I expect they should be going out this week if all goes well! We've had some last few kinks to work out with it but that'll hopefully be smoothed out soon here. Apologies for the delays!

That's All She Wrote!
over 3 years ago – Fri, Aug 14, 2020 at 10:02:30 PM

It's been an incredible 30 days here everybody! I'm a little overwhelmed by all the support and how awesome you all have been throughout this reprint journey so far. The decks are going to be the best they could ever possibly be, arguably better than the original printing, and we raised more with more backers than the first run! To be real with you all, I didn't anticipate things going this well just due to the times we live in, so it's a really awesome feeling that you're all willing to support my project in spite of what else might be going on for you. Thank you so, so much. I'm extremely grateful to have your support in this.

So, what next? Well, I've been over here getting the BackerKit ready over the past few days, and it'll be just a little bit before I can send it out to all of you, as BackerKit themselves have to make sure I didn't mess anything up LOL. It should likely be good to go within a week or so here! I'll definitely let you all know if anything comes up for whatever reason.

Some of you might be new to Kickstarter or perhaps have never used BackerKit before, so here's a brief explanation (copy-pasting from the last update). If you know the drill, feel free to skip this next paragraph!

For those who may not know, BackerKit is a service for post-crowdfunding that helps me organize your shipping information, what you ordered, and also allows you to purchase any other extras you might want. For example, if you got the Double Decker tier to split with a friend and you both wanted drawstring bags as well, you'd be able to purchase those extras via BackerKit. You'll all be emailed a link to the BackerKit store where you'll complete and lock in your orders, whether you want extras or not, and then you'll be locked in for shipping. Make sure to whitelist BackerKit now so it doesn't go to your junk folder!

The cutoff date for the BackerKit hasn't been determined yet, as it'll be roughly based on when I receive funds from Kickstarter, but I'd estimate early-mid September at the absolute latest. I'll be having a hard cutoff date here; if you don't get your pledge submitted, you'll miss out on your order, so be on the lookout when the time comes! I'll be sending periodic reminders while it's open, so don't fret too much.

I have some extras of KS-exclusive rewards from the previous campaign, those being a set of sparkly mini prints and an enamel pin, that will be included in the BackerKit store. They will have limited stock based on what I have leftover, so if any of those things sound enticing to you, I recommend you keep an eye out for the BackerKit to snag them!

Now comes the talk of shipping times. As far as I'm aware at this moment, things should still be in shape for a late October/early November ship date. Now, some of you might be aware of some of the uh. Turmoil? Going on with USPS now, and many artists and other small businesses are reporting issues with delays in items arriving to their customers. I have no idea how long this will hold true for, but I felt I should mention it. I'll do my best to update you all and to put things into the postal system in a timely manner, but with how chaotic things are at the moment, I hope they'll actually arrive to you in a timely manner as well. Please know I'll be doing everything I can that I have control over in that regard! If this postal system chaos extends to things arriving to me, I'll update you all ASAP. (Fingers crossed this won't be an issue!)

If you have any other questions or comments please don't hesitate to ask them here! I'm off to make some of these premade Tollhouse cookies to celebrate, I'll see you all when the BackerKit is ready!

P.S. Some of you have asked if I have plans for The Deck of Illusions. Indeed I do! I just redid the first card, so here's a quick look at that ;)

Ready for that 1920s poster flair?

Just 5 Days To Go! Where we're at, what to expect
over 3 years ago – Mon, Aug 10, 2020 at 05:05:18 AM

Hey everybody, we're close to the end here and I just wanted to check in with you all and talk about post-campaign stuff!

The campaign is going great still, and I appreciate all of you. I'm very happy that these cards are being fully realized how I dreamed they could be the first time around, and also that I'll also get to keep a roof over my head during these difficult times. It's the little things, y'know! :P So, thanks a ton for all your support, it means a lot to me!

Moving on! Once the campaign is over there'll be a BackerKit going up. You'll all be emailed a link to the BackerKit store where you'll complete your orders, whether you want extras or not, and then you'll be locked in for shipping. Make sure to whitelist BackerKit now so it doesn't go to your junk folder!

The cutoff date for the BackerKit hasn't been determined yet, as it'll be roughly based on when I receive funds from Kickstarter, but I'd estimate the end of August/early September at the latest. I'll be having a hard cutoff date here; if you don't get your pledge submitted, you'll miss out on your order, so be on the lookout when the time comes! I'll be sending periodic reminders while it's open, so don't fret.

I also thought I might share a bit of a sneak peek of where you'll be able to find the Deck once the campaign is over ;)

That's all for now though! See you all at the end of this campaign!

Ooooooh secrets
